Asahi Soft Drinks announced that the sales volume of "Asahi Dashing," launched on April 4, exceeded 23.5 million bottles in the first week of sales, achieving approximately 80% of the planned April sales volume.
Under the supervision of Yasuyuki Vinzuda, Japan's top tea master (10th Dan), Asahi Sashi is a "new green tea" that uses a portion of micro-fermented tea leaves (Icho green tea) to achieve a gorgeous aroma different from that of ordinary green tea.
In the first week of its launch, the volume of social networking messages, including retweets, exceeded 470,000, which is about nine times the average volume of messages for new products launched by Asahi Soft Drinks in 2023.
Asahi Soft Drinks plans to strengthen its advertising and sales promotion activities in response to the strong sales of Asahi Dashing. Specifically, as its second TV commercial, the company has been airing the "Shouting Green Tea RIEHATA" version featuring dancer/artist RIEHATA since April 10.
In addition, during major holidays and the peak summer season, the company will also work to increase the number of drinkers by conducting a campaign targeting Asahi Sashi, mainly in stores, and by strengthening marketing activities utilizing SNS and other digital means.
