On March 28, Kimuraya Fuhonten will start selling "KIMURAYA Logo Mug Cup" and "KIMURAYA Logo Hand Towel".
These products will be sold as part of the "Sakura Anpan Festival" in 2023 and will be available only at the online store. The "Sakura Anpan Festival" is an event held to commemorate "Anpan Day" on April 4. The "Anpan Day" is an anniversary recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association and was established by Kimuraya's head store on April 4, 1875 (Meiji 8), when Yasubei, the founder of Kimuraya, presented anpan to the Emperor Meiji when he went to the Mito Domain Shimoyashiki in Mukojima to view the cherry blossoms.
The "KIMURAYA Logo Hand Towel" and "KIMURAYA Logo Mug" available at the Ginza Kimuraya online store are one of a kind each.
The "KIMURAYA Logo Hand Towel" is 600 yen including tax. The simple and easy-to-use design features the "GINZA KIMURAYA SOHONTEN" logo.
The "KIMURAYA Logo Mug" is 1,000 yen including tax. The mug has a double-sided design, with an illustration of Anpan on the front and the "GINZA KIMURAYA SOHONTEN" logo on the back.
