“Mitsuya Craft Cola” relaunched on April 11th

New Japanese spices have been used to create a refreshing taste that goes well with meals.

Asahi Soft Drinks (Headquarters: Tokyo, President: Taichi Yonemena) will launch a new version of Mitsuya Craft Cola on April 11th, 2012 with a new flavor and packaging.

"Mitsuya Craft Cola" is a cola-flavored carbonated beverage with a refreshing and moderately sweet taste, using citrus fruits and 10 carefully selected spices as secret ingredients.

This time, under the supervision of spice cuisine expert Kenji Kawamura, Japanese spices "shiso" and "sansho" were newly added to enhance the refreshing aftertaste. By adding Japanese spices, we have created a craft cola that goes well with Japanese meals.

The package features the Mitsuya arrow feather logo, the words "MADE IN JAPAN," and illustrations of shiso and sansho to clearly express that this is a craft cola with Japanese spices from the Mitsuya brand, which was born in Japan.

"Mitsuya Craft Cola" has been well received not only for its delicious cola taste but also for its refreshing aftertaste that is unique to the Mitsuya brand, with "an aftertaste that is not too sweet and easy to drink.

The Mitsuya brand, which will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2024, will contribute to raising customers' "mental activity level" with the brand's appealing "freshness," "crispness," and "transparency" under the new message of "raising mental activity level through clear and refreshing sensations. We are aiming for an annual sales volume of 42.2 million boxes in 2023, which is 103% of the previous year's level.
