<"For the younger generation, it goes well with a rich meal">
In the beginning, Eiichiro Matsumoto, Executive Officer and General Manager of Sales Headquarters of Nihonsakari, took the podium. “Nihonsakari was founded by a young businessman who wanted to contribute to the local community. At that time, we were what we would call a venture company today. We are now in our 134th year. We have inherited the spirit of a challenge since our founding, and have created many industry-first products. We were the first in the industry to broadcast TV commercial songs and enter the cosmetics industry. I am confident that 'JAPANSODA' announced today will also contribute to the revitalization of the sake industry."

Eiichiro Matsumoto, Executive Officer and General Manager of Sales Division, Nippon Sheng

Masaaki Takano, Manager of the Product Development Office, introduced the features of the new product. He began by explaining his thoughts on the product: "We developed this product with the desire to pass on the world-class sake culture to the next generation. First, we wanted to break through the current low sake consumption rate among people in their 20s to 40s and to expand the base of the sake industry by targeting the next generation, The second reason is that sake has a strong image of being consumed on special occasions or as a gift, and is less often consumed on a daily basis. We want to update sake to meet today's needs.

The product features are targeted at people who drink sake at restaurants but not at home. To encourage people to drink sake as their first or second drink, we focused on making it effervescent, low in alcohol (7%), and with a refreshing aftertaste with a low sweetness. In addition, sake was developed to go well with Japanese food, but also with rich meals. In addition, the product is very simple, consisting only of rice, rice koji, and carbon dioxide gas added to the ingredients.

A sampling campaign will be held in which the first 1,000 visitors aged 20 or older who use the bathhouse at Dai-ni Kotobuki Yu will receive a bottle of the product as a gift.
