Cafe Veloce x Gold’s Gym [Protein Drink] Mixed Berry Double Chocolate now on sale, containing 13g of whey protein, also available as a morning drink of choice for an extra 100 yen.

 

On March 16th, [Cafe Veloce] operated by C-United will release [Protein Drink Mixed Berry] and [Protein Drink Double Chocolate] supervised by the fitness club [Gold's Gym]. Each is priced at 380 yen, tax included.

Available at [Cafe Veloce] stores nationwide. The campaign will end as soon as they run out. In addition to single items, the morning set includes a protein drink for an additional 100 yen (tax included).

The new [protein drinks] will be available in the popular Gold's Gym flavors [Mixed Berry] and [Double Chocolate] to make it easier for people who are trying protein drinks for the first time. The drinks contain approximately 13 grams of whey protein, which contains a good balance of "essential amino acids" that cannot be made by the body.

Whey protein is a valuable protein that can be found in only 6cc of a liter of milk and is a high-quality protein with an excellent balance of amino acids. It is absorbed more quickly than other proteins, making it ideal for nutritional supplementation immediately after training.

The [Protein Drink Mixed Berry] is a mix of Gold's Gym protein powder with sweet and sour strawberry and blueberry flavors, combined with milk.

The [Protein Drink Double Chocolate] is a combination of Gold's Gym protein powder blended with two chocolate flavors and milk.

 

The new protein drink can be selected as a set drink for an additional 100 yen with the [Morning Set (480 yen)], which includes a toasted sandwich and a drink. There are three types of morning sets: A [Toast Sandwich: Melty Cheese & Tuna - Cheddar Cheese], B [Kaiser Sandwich: Scrambled Eggs & Bacon], and C [Toast Sandwich: Melty Cheese & Ham - Mozzarella Cheese].

C-United, the company behind Café Veloce, claims that the protein drink together with the morning meal provides an ideal nutritional balance during the morning hours, which is considered the most effective time to consume protein.

To commemorate the tie-up, Café Veloce and Gold's Gym will each run their own campaigns. At Café Veloce, customers who present their Gold's Gym membership card will receive a 100 yen discount on their bill. Gold's Gym will waive the Gold's Gym membership fee (5,000 yen) by presenting the Café Veloce app, and will also give away a 20g protein sachet.
