Lawson will release [Fluffy Butter Omelette] with butter cream on March 13th, and [Crunchy Butter Pie Sandwich] on March 14th.
They will be available at all LAWSON stores nationwide. The [Fluffy Butter Omelet] will not be sold at [LAWSON STORE100].
The [fluffy butter omelet] (248 yen including tax) is a sweet treat consisting of butter cream wrapped in omelette dough. The buttercream is a mixture of butter, custard, and milk, with the addition of cherry wine and burnt butter to create a rich yet melt-in-your-mouth texture. The omelette dough is made with branded flour such as [Houkasa-jirushi] to create a "fluffy, mouth-feel and taste-free" flavor. To add depth of flavor, burnt butter is also used in the dough.
The [Crispy Butter Pie Sandwich] (235 yen including tax) is made by sandwiching butter cream between crispy pie crusts baked with burnt butter. The buttercream is a mixture of butter and custard, with cherry liquor added.
Since 2020 under Corona, Lawson has been developing standard original sweets that focus on ingredients and production methods. The [Nama Gato Chocolat], which focuses on chocolate, has sold more than 28 million units in its series. The new [Fluffy Butter Omelette] and [Crunchy Butter Pie Sandwich] are authentic butter sweets made with butter, which is the basic ingredient of western-style confectionery.
