On March 27, Nissin Foods will release "Truly Yakisoba U.F.O. 2-serving pack".

Nissin Foods "Really Baked and Delicious Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O. 2-serving pack"

"Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O." is the No. 1 selling brand in the "cup yakisoba + oil soba" category (Intage SRI, cumulative sales of "Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O." brand from January to December 2022). Since its launch in 1976, it has been known for its roasted flavor, as if it were stir-fried on a teppan (iron plate), but it has continued to call itself "yakisoba" without disclosing whether or not it is actually grilled.

The new "Truly Grilled U.F.O. Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O. 2-Serving Pack" is the first ever pack of "U.F.O." noodles, containing two servings per pack for 315 yen (tax not included). The noodles are cooked in a frying pan by "really cooking" them. By "sizzling" the sauce until it burns, "the savory roasted flavor creates a rich dish that whets the appetite," according to the company.

The "thick, rich sauce specially developed for bagged noodles" is based on the well-known "thick, rich sauce" used in the "Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O." cup noodle, and features thick, medium-thick, non-fried straight noodles with a firm texture, cabbage, and other ingredients. The "thick thick thick thick thick thick sauce" is a newly developed sauce based on the well-known "thick thick thick thick sauce" of "Fukuro-men".
