The product has a content of 79 g (60 g noodles) and a suggested retail price of 214 yen (excluding tax). Cooking time is 3 minutes with boiling water. In response to the recent popularity of garlic flavors, the company developed this product with the aim of using plenty of garlic to give it an impact both in appearance and taste.
The noodles are medium-thin and crispy, using lard as the frying oil. The soup is a soy-sauce pork bone broth that goes well with garlic. The condiments are garlic chips, fried garlic, and green onions.
Two types of garlic are used: "fried garlic," which is aromatic and adds depth to the flavor, and "chopped garlic," which is flavorful and "stimulates the appetite. Sampo Foods says, "This is a must-try for garlic lovers.
Sampo Foods' "Matsumori" series is characterized by the impactful sizzle of its surprisingly large amount of ingredients. The "Matsumori Negi Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen" series has been "popular every time it is released," including the re-release in March 2022, which became a hot topic due to the "scallions that covered the noodles.
