Asahi Group Foods Corporation (headquartered in Tokyo; Hiroshi Kawahara, President) will launch the non-sugar candy Zero Lemon Candy on 27 March.

A non-sugar candy with three refreshing lemon flavours.
The three flavours are Honey & Lemon with a sweet and sour taste, Soda & Lemon with a sizzling carbonation sensation and Lime & Lemon with a refreshing taste, all made with Sicilian lemon juice.
All four packages feature illustrations of Disney main characters Mickey & Friends, with designs of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck. In addition to the regular Mickey Mouse package, there are two special packages with a hidden Mickey design.

The market for non-sugar candies is expected to grow in the future due to the high demand for non-sugar types of candy as a result of growing health consciousness. Lemon flavour is a popular flavour, but few assortment-type products are currently available, and since there is a high purchase intention for an assortment type that offers three different lemon flavours, an assortment type was developed using packaging featuring the main Disney character, which is popular with a wide range of consumers.
